Already Missing You

You say ‘goodnight’ and I walk you out the door

I steal a kiss, goodbye waits a moment more

You say you have to go, it’s almost two

Well goodbye, my love, I’m already missing you

I already miss you, you’re not even out of sight

Come back soon I’ll think of you all night

I’ll try to sleep, but there’s no use

Until we meet again, I’ll be missing you

I stand under the streetlight, you drive away

I Wave at the taillights of your black Chevrolet

I never knew I could yearn the way I do

Alone in the night, I’m already missing you

I already miss you, you just out of sight

Come back soon I’ll think of you all night

I’ll try to sleep, but there’s no use

Until we meet again, I’ll be missing you
